Arcana Library time!
[So, if you find yourself exploring the Radiant Plane, you may come across a building that looks quite a bit like a library. If you step inside, you will see high selves and many, many sections to find what you're looking for in particular. If you look around any, you may find the young Rose on a ladder, putting books on the shelves she can't reach.
The catch is, since she can't really conjure up books of many topics, most of them are blank.
Meaning they will only fill in if you are looking for something in particular. Think about whatever you want and the section it should be under and you will find that book.
Another thing is, some of these shelves are completely empty. Feel free to help her fill those empty shelves up and blank books. She'd appreciate it.
She'd also tell you to think of it as a huge community project. Of knowledge.]
[Note: Officially gonna call it Arcana Library :3]

It's only natural that Louis would form many types of books ranging from the occult to science to business but among them are of the eldritch beings she enjoys reading about. He's kept such beings in his castle before as a line of defense so why wouldn't he be able to create a source of information on them?
Louis himself is here, though he is hardly noticeable. He seems to be resting himself against a shelf, quietly flipping through pages of one of the books Rose created. Care to approach him?]

She climbs down her ladder and finds herself a bit drawn to those books of those eldritch beings she enjoys so much.
As she picks up one of those books, she finally spots Louis and smiles a little. She keeps the book hugged against her chest as she approaches him.]
Hello, Louis. Were you the one who made all these books?

[He was silently commending her elegant tastes when he noticed the book in her arms. It was obvious she was into the occult so it wasn't exactly a shock to him that she was carrying such an item. There is a small nod from him before he speaks.]
Well, only a few of them really. I could never let a wonderful source of information run low on its resources so I felt it was only the correct thing to do.

[Her knowledge was rather limited so she appreciates it quite a bit.
... Hold on. How does Louis know so much? She doesn't think a human should know this much. Hmm.
She feels a little embarrassed for coming to this conclusion just due to that but, ugh, she might as well as it. Even if it's a silly thing to base her conclusion on.
She's young though. It happens.]
Forgive me for how silly this sounds but, you were never human, were you? You seem to retain more knowledge than any human I had admired so...
[She won't even continue that sentence; she'll just laugh quietly.]

Does it matter whether I was or not? What matters is now, what we are as deities.
[Admittedly, he feels no difference power wise. Though now he feels less oppressed, as if a great weight upon him has been lifted.
With that, he returns the book he had been delicately skimming through back onto the shelf.]
This place will be of use to the rest of them as well, should they hold any doubts as to what they should do with their new status.

[Setting that aside, just a little, she smiles at Louis again. She's expecting to see quite a bit of self-help books very soon, you see, so you kind of hit the nail there.]
Yes. I'm expecting quite a few books designated just for that. There's absolutely nothing wrong with cluelessness, however, and most might need it.
I imagine an old 'friend' would say the same, too. Come to think of it, you sound a bit like him...
[Yet you're different from ol' Doc, Louis. She notices that much. Just...how does she keep running into mysterious gentlemen?]
trying not to be punny I swear
[He seems amused, even chuckling a little again to himself.]
You seem to speak highly of him so I suppose it is safe to do so. I imagine he must have been a sharp man for him to reach the same conclusion as we have. Not to mention place himself in the company of a bright young lady as yourself.

He once suggested that everything--from my being sidetracked to my black magic--were an unconscious manipulation by the Horrorterrors. They're sort of gods.
Anyways, he had advised me to rely on a Cue Ball for information, rather than them or the trolls, and had encourage me to ask if the Gods were evil.
[Her smile darkens now. This next part isn't exactly a happy time for her, you know.]
And I went Grimdark and I found my friend's Father and my Mother dead. I sought revenge on Jack Noir and was unintelligible to my friend. I...ended up dying to Jack Noir as well.

He decides to look around, scanning the shelves, and thinking how much he'd prefer it if there weren't any books on Derse and Prospit ever.
He does accidentally conjure up a few books on Midnight City though.]
no subject
And will walk up to him.]
I never saw you as the reading type.
[Okay, she may just want to bug him.]
no subject
...I ain't. Not really.
[There's a reason he was pretty damn lazy back on Derse. Granted, he endured the reading and management part of running the City, but that had been easy since he had actually liked the City.]
no subject
What was it like to manage a city?
[She's only saying this because she's noticed the books. Oh and the Midnight Crew thing but, hey...]
no subject
One hell o' a headache, lemme tell ya that.
[A pause, and he suddenly looks wistful.]
It's also one hell of a job. An' I mean that in a good way.

[He falls oddly silent, as though thinking about this.]

Though he changed his mind about seeking out the raunchy magazines when he spotted Rose. Bugging her would be a much better idea, he decided.]
Hey kiddo. Fancy meeting you here.

But setting that aside: Hello, Mr. Strider.
no subject
Please, call me Bro.
Or dad, that works too.Mr. Strider sounds way too formal for me kiddo.

[He gestured towards the many empty shelves along the library]

Not entirely knowing he conjured it up, he'll pick up the book on Sparda and begin flipping through it. How come he never encountered something like this before? Sure would have helped him a lot.]
no subject
... You have some interesting knowledge.

[Man this girl likes sneaking up on people, doesn't she? He'll close the book and turn towards her, leaning against the bookshelf.]
My job was hunting devils, or demons. It wasn't well known, though, and I advertised myself as a jack of all trades. Even then I only took 'special' jobs.

[She seems to be getting an idea why Dante was given 'God of Humanity' now.]
But wouldn't such a job be difficult for a mere human?

But I am curious: You should have some evidence of battle scars but it doesn't look like you do. Are you good at healing wounds, avoiding injury, or is there something else about you that you're not telling me?

[Rude, Dante. You didn't have to say that.]
